| Codes 34 (det sensor) and 13 ( water temp sensor) will throw the car into safety boost. I know that the det sensor can detect detonation intermittently, will put the car into safety boost until the car is restarted, and not throw an error code. I know this isn't happening because I recently used the resistor method and that cleared the code. besides, if this were happening to me it would reset itself the next time I start the car. It's not the gas either since I've filled up since then. I have the trial version of conzult and check codes frequently. The only code that has come up in a long is code 42
